Ancient Babylon, Al-Hillah, Iraq
Ancient Babylon, the capital of Babylonia, is located near the modern city of Al-Hillah, Iraq (City). Many of its buildings and Public Works, including the walls that enclose the city, were ordered by Nebuchadnezzar II (634-562 BCE), who built and developed most of Babylon’s foundation. Despite the damage the site had gone through, its ruins still successfully accomplished to display a glimpse of what Ancient Babylon must have been like.
